monospaced_font?

Anytime you look into any code editor or computer terminals and write text on them, you will often notice that the font spacing looks a bit different from what you see usually. Though the term was one of the lesser-known terms when it comes to typography, those typestyles are called monospaced font, also called a fixed-pitch, fixed-width, or fixed-pitch font, where each characters and letters of the font occupy the same amount of horizontal space, which is now the default typestyle for computer programming. Even though all of us most likely have used a monospaced font before, it seems we do not know much about them. Here, I will be looking into how this typestyle developed and how it is being used now.
